The death toll from devastating flash floods along the Nepal–Tibet border has risen to at least 353, with more than 1,000 people reportedly missing.

At least 33 UK nationals, including a 14-year-old boy, are among those missing. Authorities are warning of a significant risk of further flooding after a lake formed by the disaster could burst.
