Three teenagers, including two 16-year-old boys, have been arrested in connection with a murder investigation following the fatal stabbing of a man in west London.

Police were called to reports of a stabbing on Victoria Road in Feltham at around 5pm on Monday. An 18-year-old man was found with stab wounds and taken to hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. His family have been informed.

Both the London Ambulance Service and the air ambulance attended the scene near Feltham High Street.

The Metropolitan Police confirmed that two 16-year-old boys have been arrested on suspicion of murder and possession of an offensive weapon. One was detained on Monday and the other on Tuesday. Both remain in police custody.

A third suspect, a 19-year-old man, was arrested on Tuesday on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and possession of an offensive weapon. Police said his arrest relates to an alleged assault involving one of the detained boys. The boy was treated for minor injuries before the arrest was made.

Detective Chief Inspector Allam Bhangoo, who is leading the investigation, expressed his “deepest condolences” to the victim’s family and friends.

He said the incident had caused distress in the local community but reassured residents that the investigation was being treated as a priority.

“People may notice an increased police presence in the area as enquiries continue,” he said. “However, at this stage, we are confident there is no ongoing risk to the public.”
