Keep Going

They said it would be simple… They said… be strong. So I learned how to smile… even when I’m breaking. They said… be successful. But no one told me… how many times I’d feel lost. They said… have it all together. So I hid the parts… that didn’t make sense. They said… don’t be weak. So I stayed quiet… when I needed help the most. But what if… …this is what being human looks like? Not perfect… Not always strong… But still trying. Maybe that’s enough… And maybe… that’s strength.
